15th Winemakers’ Winemaker of Hungary

The memorial, decorative stone was placed on Zrínyi street in the downtown of Budapest 12 June in reverence of Mrs Judit Bodó who has won the 15th Winemakers’ Winemaker of Hungary title. The election was made by the votes of 5 winemakers selected by the top 50 winemakers decides each year. They voted unanimously for Mrs Bodó this year. Mr Pál Rókusfalvy was present at the event, he was the founder of this prestious ceremony 15 years ago. There were present also the leading winemakers, wine experts and wine’s friends, including Mr Tamás Freund micribiologist and present of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

The Bokk estate and winery are owned by Mrs Judit Bodó and are located in Tokaj, from where the “ vinum regum – rex vinorum “ phrase was told by King Louis XIV. Judit and her husband are waiting with pleasure for all visitors who want to ascertain their wines’ excellence.
